We first encountered Bernard and his friend Samuel at Chepseon Primary School in Salgaa, Nakuru County. At the time, they were surviving with the help of a kind community member who provided them with occasional meals, school supplies, and uniforms. Having come from vulnerable and unstable backgrounds, the two boys had previously spent nights on the streets. Today, they share a small semi-permanent shelter to keep off the streets and cling to the hope of a better tomorrow.

Embracing Education
With the support of World Vision Kenya through the Inuka Angaza Fund , these two boys are  in high school, something that once seemed impossible.
“The soft life,” Bernard says with a smile.
While their lives have taken a hopeful turn, Bernard and Samuel still need support with school fees, boarding essentials, ongoing mentorship, and a safe environment to live. That’s where you come in.
