How To Register

The Less Steps for Water Walk & Run (Edition 2) is back, and we’re calling on you to turn your miles into miracles! After the incredible success of our inaugural event, we are returning to the starting line on Saturday, 13th June 2026, at the World Vision Kenya Office in Karen.
Why We’re Running
This year, our focus is on Lower Yatta, Kitui County. In this community, the reality is stark:
  • Only 14% of households have water within their compounds.
  • Over 50% of the population relies on seasonal, unprotected water from the River Tiva and River Athi.
  • Children especially girls bear the heaviest burden, walking several km daily, which robs them of their education and safety.
We aren't just running for fitness; we’re running for sustainable solutions. Funds raised through the run  will go directly toward borehole extensions, pipeline infrastructure, and water kiosks. Bringing water closer to home means keeping girls in school and giving them back their childhoods.
Join the Movement
Whether you are a runner, a walker, or a cyclist, there’s a place for you. You can participate as an individual, bring your family, or even rally your colleagues for our Corporate Team Challenge
Let’s take these steps together so the children of Lower Yatta don't have to.
