#SmilesForSalgaa

We invite you to donate as little as KES 100/- or more to add to the amount needed to buy a school uniform set for one poor child in Salgaa. We are targeting 100 needy pupils each in eight schools, targeting 800 pupils in total.

The Challenge:

Over 800 vulnerable children in Salgaa attend school in tattered clothing, barefoot, and without learning materials. They are exposed to ridicule and bullying. Many hate and skip school as a result. As schools approach the second term, many of these children will not have decent uniforms and the supplies needed for quality education.

What we have done so far:

Through the Inuka Angaza Fund, World Vision Kenya is working with eight primary schools in the Salgaa Area program to address several issues: restoring dignity and joy for school-going children. Through donations and support from Kenyans, World Vision Kenya has provided uniforms to 60 vulnerable children, learning materials to over 700 children, and dignity kits to over 2,000 girls and boys.

We need YOU this Easter!

Easter symbolizes renewal and new life; the greatest gift of all was HOPE through Christ Jesus. As you celebrate this Easter, we are inviting you to spread this hope and joy by joining our mission to impact vulnerable children and create #SmilesForSalgaa
