Why We Must Stand with Vulnerable Children Today

In the heart of Salgaa, Nakuru County, hundreds of children are growing up in a world that seems to have forgotten about them.
Poverty, the loss of parents, and neglect have left deep scars. Many children are forced to raise their younger siblings. Others go to school hungry, barefoot, and without the dignity of a school uniform. Some are out of school entirely, carrying the burden of early pregnancies. Their lives, full of potential, are hanging in the balance.
But this doesn’t have to be their story.

At World Vision Kenya, through the Inuka Angaza Fund, we are working to change this narrative; one child at a time. We're building structures of support, love, and opportunity for the children of Salgaa: from access to education and school supplies, to emotional care, safety, and community development.
But we cannot do it alone.
Here’s how you can help:
Your donation could mean the difference between despair and hope for a child.

  1. KSH 2,750 can provide a Basic School Kit which includes, uniform, shoes and, stationery,
  2. KSH 11,300 supports one child’s basic needs for a year.
  3. KSH 21,300 covers a full year in day school.
  4. KSH 6,300–61,300 provides for a child in boarding school for a year.
  5. KSH 450 gives one girl the menstrual hygiene care she needs per term.

These are more than numbers. They’re lifelines. They’re investments in dreams, dignity, and destiny.
The future of Salgaa's children begins with you.
Let’s rewrite the story of Salgaa together. Let’s give these children the education, care, and hope they deserve.
