For many children, the lack of basic school wear or hygiene items often leads to absenteeism, embarrassment, and declining academic performance especially among adolescent girls. The distribution at Chepseon directly addressed these barriers and ensured that every child can continue learning with comfort and pride.

The Chepseon intervention included:
  • Brand‑new school uniforms
  • Dignity kits with essential hygiene supplies
  • Support targeting vulnerable students, especially girls.
These items help learners return to school feeling clean, confident, and fully equipped to focus on their education.
This impact was made possible through a USD 10,000 grant from the Myriad Foundation (USA) through Avery Dennison ; a partnership that demonstrates how targeted generosity can remove barriers that keep children from thriving.
The smiles on learners’ faces reflected what this support truly means: belonging, comfort, and the assurance that someone cares.

The needs in our communities are great  but so is our ability to respond. The Inuka Angaza Fund continues to drive local impact, ensuring more children can stay in school, access basic essentials, and learn with dignity.

Well‑wishers who believe in the power of local giving can continue fueling interventions like:

  • Uniform and dignity kit support
  • Emergency response
  • Education improvements
  • WASH (water, sanitation, hygiene) interventions
  • Child well‑being initiatives

Every contribution lights up a child’s path  and creates the next success story.
