    This year, we are running for the children of Lower Yatta, Kitui County. Currently, over 50% of the community relies on unprotected river water, and thousands of children especially girls walk kilometers every day just to find a safe source. This distance is the difference between a girl staying in school or dropping out.
    Every stride we take helps fund borehole extensions and pipelines to bring water closer to their homes and schools.
